Is this legal?
Yes. Snoooper only reads publicly visible storefront data — the same product and inventory information any shopper can see in their browser. We don't access private data, admin panels, or anything that requires a login. It's equivalent to manually checking a competitor's product page, just automated.
Do I need API access or a login to the competitor's store?
No. That's the whole point. Snoooper works entirely from public storefront data. You never need to contact the store owner, get approved, or set up any integrations on their end.
What Shopify stores does it work on?
Any public Shopify store where the storefront is accessible. If you can browse their products as a normal shopper, we can track it. Stores with password protection (e.g. wholesale-only or development stores) cannot be tracked.
How often is inventory checked?
It depends on your plan. Free and Starter plans check daily. Pro and Agency plans check hourly. Enterprise plans can configure custom intervals down to near real-time depending on volume.
How does Snoooper detect sales if it doesn't have admin access?
We track inventory levels over time and infer sales from decreases in stock count. If a variant goes from 47 to 31 units between two snapshots, we record 16 units sold at that price point — giving you a reliable estimate of their actual sell-through rate.
Can I track my own store too?
Absolutely. Many customers use Snoooper to monitor both competitors and their own storefronts for an outside-in view of their inventory health and sales pace.
Can I cancel anytime?
